Axia Audio announces that Creative Studio Solutions (www.creativestudiosolutions.com)
is the newest authorized integrator of Axia broadcast products.
As an Axia partner, CSS, the Colorado-based company founded by
well-known broadcast engineer Andrew Rosenberg, will provide systems
integration services for Axia clients seeking end-to-end installed
solutions.
“Broadcasters are always searching for ways to get more ‘bang for the
buck,’” says Rosenberg. “Axia IPAudio
networks have a very advanced and flexible feature set; they also reduce
the complication and expense of studio infrastructure. We think the Axia
approach will be a perfect addition to the services we provide.”
“It’s great to have CSS in our family of systems integrators,” says
Axia President Michael Dosch. “We worked together on the recent WOR studio
project in New York, and their professionalism and technical proficiency
were impressive. It’ll be a pleasure working together.”
WOR, Buckley Broadcasting’s New York City flagship, recently completed
new studios in Manhattan using Axia audio networking equipment. The build
included four Talk Studios, four Control Rooms, and a Production Room for
a total of nine studios, plus six news booths, and a master control/tech
center.
Creative Studio Solutions provided systems integration and installation
services for the project. Creative Studio Solutions, founded in 2001,
provides broadcast studio design, integration and installation services
for communications corporations, large and small, across the United
States. Their client list includes corporations such as Buckley
Broadcasting, Entercom, Entravision and Signal Media.
The Axia IP-Audio system enables broadcasters to build audio networks
of any size using standard switched Ethernet to connect a few rooms — or
an entire facility. Because an Axia audio network can transport hundreds
of digital stereo audio channels using a few standard CAT-6 cables, much
of the cost normally associated with wiring labor and infrastructure is
eliminated.
